Everybody had fun today except Simon, although I suspect any day is good for him when his nemesis is not around. I took Glory to camp this morning and again, she wasn't thrilled to be there (although she did get excited when one of the staff members greeted her). So when I went to pick her up, I asked to see the group at play. It was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen - there were 15 or 20 dogs in the play area outside. Although it was hot, there was plenty of shade and the camp counselor (I don't know what they really call them) was seated in a chair under a big tree. And ALL the dogs were lying in a circle at her feet... like she was reading them a story! It was adorable and even though Glory wasn't playing, she was clearly comfortable with all the dogs because she was smack in the middle of them.
And then my fun came this evening when the neighbor ladies made another excursion to the wine bar. We love that place!
So glad you have found friends for yourself and Glory and Simon. I enjoy reading your blog every day and keeping up with your new life in Texas. I can identify with most stuff, but as a diabetic can only envy wine tasting parties. Thanks for keeping us in your life. Love you much.
