Big adventure for the dogs today... we went to Citizens for Animal Protection for microchipping. It took a lot longer than I expected, but it was a big beautiful building and there were mahvelous aromas everywhere for the pups while we waited. They made friends with two little children, who petted and kissed them both - it was adorable. Fortunately they took them away to get the chips put in, so I didn't have to witness it. The cost was $20 each, while the vet charges $47. I ended up giving them $100 because it's for a good cause and the vet already gets plenty of my money. And if by some chance, I end up dogless anytime soon, this place will be my first stop for a new one.
