Had a little scare this morning: As soon as I wake up every single day, I throw on some clothes and take the dogs out for a 45-minute walk.  I've been doing this for 10 years, so Glory has done it for the last six years she's lived with me. And she loves it. Yesterday I had to coax her out of the bedroom and today she came out on her own, but laid down by the front door and just looked at me. She didn't want to go. So Simon and I went for a shorter walk since I was worried about Glory (although I must confess... it is soooo much easier to walk only one dog). When we returned, she was happy to see us and anxious to eat. So appetite's fine and that's good. Then after breakfast, she wanted to play tug-of-war, so I'm guessing she's not sick. She's soon to be seven, so maybe arthritis is setting in and getting up is hard to do. Or maybe she's sick of this heat (as am I). We'll see what tomorrow brings before I call the vet and spend too much money.
