In the last two weeks I've become a voracious reader, which is a 180 degree turnaround from where I was even a month or two ago. Fortunately the library is close by and I can find and hold books online. I discovered an author, David Rosenfelt, who writes mystery novels that aren't gory, and is very witty so I actually laugh out loud occasionally. I was trying to read his books in order, but am having to wait on one, so today started reading The Fault in Our Stars. It's a book about two teenagers with cancer which recently came out as a movie. It got great reviews, but the critics all mentioned how sad it was, so I decided to read the story instead. I read all afternoon, only stopping to cry a bit now and then, and thoroughly enjoyed the day (but I still can't get past feeling guilty for wasting time). I'm working on it.
