Now that the chapter of Mom has closed, I'm anxious to see what happens next in my book of life. Feel free to come along as I start my new journey.

Well, Trivia was fun, but dragged on waaay too long. There were five games, 15 questions per game, and there was a break after every five questions! I realize we all have to use the facilities more frequently than all the rest of society, but this was ridiculous. And then a longer break after each game, while the papers were graded. I got home an hour after my bedtime, which really throws me off kilter. Our team placed in two of the games, but we were short one person and one of the winningest teams had a woman who's been on Jeopardy. Now does that seem fair? I was proud that I knew all the math questions and no one else at our table did. It's not a monthly activity, but is happening again in October, so I'll be there (just may have to take a nap first).

I sometimes can't make it through an hour tv show that starts at nine pm. If I don't get to bed around 8:30, the next day is messed up. Understand completely. Next time, tell them you won on "Biggest Losers" and that will put that Jeopardy lady in her place.
ReplyDeleteThanks... I thought it was just me. And I like the Biggest Losers idea!
