I appreciate Joe and Mary Jane more every time I'm prepping to take the dogs to the sitter. I always thought the appreciation was totally because of Mom, but now I'm realizing that was only 75%, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the money. Tomorrow I have to take Simon to get his bordetella vaccine (Glory had hers before she could go to doggy day care), then they're both going to the groomer on Friday to get bathed and Simon will get groomed. I have forms to fill out, copies to be made, and then there's the packing...  it's a big deal. I have to take both of their large beds, their food bowls, food and treats, blankets for the furniture, toys, and my t-shirts to put in their beds. Yes, it's probably overkill, but I want them to feel at home.  Yet when Joe and MJ came, I had none of this nonsense because Mary Jane took care of them. And Glory does love Joe. After a lot of wine at my wine pairings party, three of the women offered to take care of them. But I have to wait till the second offer before I can take any of them up on it (just in case it was an alcohol related incident).
