I'm now in Heber and all is well (other than severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings). This was, hands down, the easiest trip I've ever made. First I took the dogs to the sitter at 9 and got back home with plenty of time to spare. I decided earlier in the week to use Lyft, one of the new, cheaper alternatives to cabs, for the first time. I was a little anxious, so had already mapped out the drive to the airport as well as choosing an outlying parking lot, just in case the driver was late or didn't show. I determined that I didn't need to call until 10:15-ish, but at 9:30 thought I'd test the app to see how it worked. When I hit the tab for "Request Lyft" it immediately showed searching for drivers. I quickly closed the app, assuming I'd also cancelled the request... but nay, nay my friends. In 10 min. I got a text saying that my driver was outside. Thankfully, I was ready to go, but did get a bit flustered. My driver was an older man, very professionally dressed in a nice, clean car and it was perfect. He even offered to pick me up on Sunday. I'm so happy I tried this!

The airport was practically empty, my flight left on time, and the friend who was picking me up in Little Rock even came into the terminal to greet me. She brought me straight to Gretchen's and then Gretchen, another friend and I went out to dinner. I wish every trip could be this great. So far, I give it five stars!
