Brunch was canceled today which was fine by me because I've been so busy that I appreciated a little break. Plus I had to go to the grocery store this morning for appetizer makings for the party this evening. While I was there, someone stole my shopping bag right out of my cart while my back was turned. It cost maybe $2, but who would do that? Sad state of affairs.

Then this afternoon I took the dogs to a nearby fenced in area so Glory could run free. She loved it, but Simon found a dead bird and I watched helplessly as he ate the whole thing. What was I supposed to do? Take it away from him? With my bare hands? Absolutely not!!! Fortunately he has an iron stomach, so no repercussions.

Then this evening was the wine party at a neighbor's, which was wonderful. She had invited two new women to Heritage Grand and I liked them both. A fun evening that didn't get out of hand like the last time we got together (and that's a good thing because now I can get up in the morning without fear of a debilitating headache).
