Ever have one of those days when you were busy all day, but then can't explain what you were doing? I do know that a big chunk of time was used up on Christmas lights and I promised myself that next year will be better. I feel obligated to put lights out front because right now my house is the black hole on my side of the street. So I pulled out seven strands that I haven't used since I left Houston, but I checked three of them randomly and they were good. So I put those out, as my method was to untangle in the house and then take them outside. To make matters worse, I started on each end of the flower bed and planned on meeting in the middle. Stupid, stupid me. So I'm sure you've figured out where this is going... the rest of the strands were ALL bad in one way or another. I tried switching out the first burned out light with a new one, to no avail, and then went to YouTube to learn how to change the fuses. Tried them all and nothing worked. Dammit!
No time in the rest of the day to go buy new ones, so again my house is in the dark. Tomorrow I have to help decorate the clubhouse for our big Christmas luncheon on Monday and then have a birthday party to go to, so don't know if there will be time tomorrow. Bah, humbug!
