Finally I'm back to having a little fun and I like it! I had lunch with Allison and Roy today for the first time in a long time so we had a lot of catching up to do. Then tonight was the holiday party at Heritage Grand and it was a hoot. First a local Cub Scout troop sang Christmas carols (if you'd call You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch a carol).

Everyone had to bring an appetizer or dessert and there were mostly desserts, so of course, I had to eat a lot of chocolate. Then we played a gift exchange game with white elephant gifts, which was hysterical.

Afterwards, my neighbor and I drove around looking at lights in the neighborhood and stopped in to visit at the peacock house. It was the FBI guy's from the luncheon on Monday and he just had to come out and visit with us. It was really a fun evening.
