Another beautiful day, for more reasons than just the weather. The lunch bunch (Cathy, Sharon, Kitty, Ann, Kay, and me) met today to celebrate Kitty's 85th birthday last week. We laugh, occasionally shed a few tears, and always relish in delicious food at Federal Grill. And today was no exception. Additionally, I'm excited because we decided our next meeting will be a field trip to city hall in Houston where Sharon works as an assistant to a city councilman. Sharon's awfully brave to allow us into her office. Probably best if we go before lunch and haven't had any wine yet.

Then when I came home, the garage door man was here and said he needed to install a new opener. I'm not happy because he didn't fully credit me for the work done on Tuesday and I know I spent more than necessary. But if I'd gone to Home Depot to get an opener and then had to find someone to install it, it would have taken more time. I hate being at the mercy of repairmen!
