My handyman finally showed up today after being MIA for the last month. Fortunately I'm not in a hurry for him to finish, but he put up a cabinet in my laundry room today, which looks great.

Sharon's granddaughter, Bella, came for tutoring this evening and I feel we made much more progress than in previous sessions. And I proposed that we spend Saturday together so we can work on math a little, bond a little, and go out to lunch. Her other option was to spend the day at her little brother's soccer tournament, so she was open to it. I think it will help considerably so that she's not so shy and embarrassed around me. Will report back Saturday evening to let you know how it goes. BFF's? Maybe I'm being too optimistic.
