Since the weather was so great again today, a friend and I decided to go into Houston for a field trip. We ate lunch in Rice Village and then spent a couple of hours at the zoo. Most of the animals were in similar poses to the lions. The elephants were just a few that were actually up and moving around. The baby elephant is getting water shot straight into its trunk.

One thing I learned... traffic lights in that part of the city are soooo much longer than in Katy. More proof that I made the right decision. Life is too short at this point to spend it sitting at a red light.
