I had a visit with Hope this morning and it went very well. She even hugged me when I left and you know I didn't initiate it. But I'm glad she did and will definitely start hugging her more. God knows she needs it (and it's certainly good for me, too). But I can't lie... I'm a little suspicious because I asked her if she wants to go back to Tyler, where her sisters are, when she's released and she said no, she wants to be adopted. I ain't no dummy!

Then I came home and cleaned out my garage. It wasn't terribly dirty, but I wanted to rearrange it because everything was exactly where I told the movers to put it a year ago and it just wasn't right. But it was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the work.

Kay and Kori came over this afternoon. Kay brought a late lunch and put Kori down for her nap while we ate outside. All in all, it was a pretty fine day!
