I had a pedicure appointment scheduled for this morning at my podiatrist's office (who knew?), but they called last night to cancel because of some sort of electrical problems. Although they're a little more expensive, I decided it would be better to get it there because I have major toe issues that I can only thank my mother for. My initial thought when I got the call was just to get one somewhere else because I can't wear sandals until my toes look better and it's definitely warm enough here now. But then she added that if I rescheduled they would give it to me for 50% off. Do these people know me or what? I have to wait another week, but my frugality overrides the need to display my toes.

And this morning I had to buy new walking and workout shoes. I went to the outlet mall and got the second pair at 50% off. My lucky day!
