There was a rousing discussion at the wine bar tonight... tailor made for old folks. There were eight of us there, two being under 65, so we discussed all the ins and outs of different supplemental plans to Medicare as well as prescription drug plans. Now I think we should hire ourselves out as consultants to others. I was happy to learn that another woman who uses United Healthcare, as I do, has had cancer and never had to pay a penny out of pocket. I knew it was fine with no major ailments, but worried about something serious. Worry no more! We also had fun conversations and I really enjoyed myself. What a fun place this is!
