OOPS!!! I completely forgot about blogging last night because I was very busy drinking with my brothers and Mary Jane (actually, Joe and I were the only drinkers) out on the patio until bedtime. Then I took Simon and went around the corner to sleep at a neighbor's so that everyone got a bed at my house. It was a good plan until 5 AM when a terrible storm started rolling through and I had neglected to bring Simon's tranquilizers. He panted and paced for an hour and a half and the bad news is that most of that time he was pacing back and forth across my body or his tail was in my face. Tonight I'll be better prepared for an emergency.
