Our exclusive wine group (the winos) had our first wine tasting this evening. Four people brought whites and four people brought reds. Each bottle was placed in a numbered sack that we passed around with cheese for the whites and chocolate for the reds. We all had voting sheets so we could score each wine and then revealed the winners. The interesting thing was that some are red wine drinkers and some are whites, yet we all agreed on the favorites. For our next party each person will bring their favorite wine and a food that it pairs with. We're also planning a trip to wineries in Fredericksburg in the fall and Napa in the spring... I love this group of women!!!
