I had to go to the vet this morning to pick up 4th of July pills for both dogs. We've had several severe thunderstorms lately and although Simon is the real fraidy cat, Glory gets nervous, too. And since both dogs will be with sitters while I'm in Memphis, I decided they needed something a little stronger than Benadryl.
And speaking of thunderstorms, we had one this morning just as I was getting ready to go to the Y. But the power went out right before I was heading out and I couldn't get out of the garage. Oh, darn. And it was definitely too much trouble to unlatch it so I could open it by hand. That's what I call perfect timing.
I did get to see Hope this evening. She said she had "acted the fool," but seems to be back on track. She was moved to another unit and wasn't happy about it and that's what provoked her outburst. Her medication makes her a little loopy, so I hope they're working to adjust it. I told her I'd be back to see her next Wednesday and that she better stay out of trouble. Fingers crossed!
