Kay and Kori came over this afternoon and Kay put Kori down for a nap as she always does. However, Kori just wasn't sleepy, so Kay eventually got her up. Naturally, Glory thought she was there for her entertainment and kept bringing her toys over so Kori would play with her. We tried a game show on TV (Price is Right is her favorite), but she just continued to get up, walk into the kitchen, and back around to the living room. Kay was stressed, but I thought it was fine. And then a few minutes ago, Kay texted that Kori is yawning and she wishes she could say, "I told you so."
Regardless, we had a good time because Kay brought over her journal and photos from our trip during the summer of 1973 to Pennsylvania. We stayed in the Poconos and worked as waitresses in a dinner theater where we met our wonderful friend, Patti, who now lives in Florida. We're still in touch with her now and always will be. The trip was a real adventure, but Patti was our prize.
Top to bottom: Kay, me, Patti
