Okay, back to vacation news. This is the day that Gretchen and I drove to Lake Tahoe. We had lunch in South Lake Tahoe and then drove to the north side for the night. The photo at right was taken on the drive north. It couldn't have possibly been a more beautiful day and the scenery was amazing. Apparently in the off season they work on the roads, so it was bumper to bumper traffic all the way. Gretchen was driving and is probably the most laid back and good driver I know... she's unflappable. So I got to enjoy the views. Perfect.

Then when we checked into the Hyatt at Incline Village, we were offered complimentary champagne. So of course I told the desk clerk he had to take a picture of us because it was a first for both of us. I'd be happy to go back there any day!
