Until something blog worthy happens around here, I'm going to revisit my vacation... partly for me and a little for you (to save you from complete boredom, or maybe that's me).

The setting at left is where we had lunch on our winery tour. It was absolutely beautiful and one of the women from London even bought a bottle of wine for us all to share while we ate. We were very impressed with her thoughtfulness.

The photo at right was our favorite winery and the only one where we were served food with our tastings. The wineries outside the city limits of Napa are not allowed to serve food without a restaurant permit, so maybe that's one reason we liked this one best. Most wines really do taste better with food. So this was our first day of learning.
