Another boring day, so back to the California trip. These are shots from Calaveras State Park, which was so amazing to me. The tree stump at left was once used as a dance floor, but I forgot to ask Andrea and Brad to put on a show. Other than the incredible size of the trees, I also loved the color of the bark in the sun. It is a bright orangey-red and was just beautiful.

The trees on the right are called Siamese trees because they grow together. There had to be people in the photos to emphasize the height and width of the trees. I told Andrea that my dying wish will be to walk (or be pushed) down this path again. I absolutely loved it!
