I probably shouldn't be, but I'm pretty happy that the 7th grade girl I tutor on Tuesdays has quit for now. First of all, she didn't come until 4:30 which threw my dinnertime off and that didn't really sit well with me. But more importantly, her mother would come in with her, so I had to straighten up the house before she got here. Kids don't care if the house is a little messy.

But I saw Mason this morning and he brightened my day even more than usual. He told me that Tuesday is now his lucky day because he gets to be a car rider (his grandma brings him because they go to some activity after school) and because I come to see him. Thrilled me!
