It was a lazy, hot summer day today. I met some of the single ladies at the pool this evening and even wore my suit for the first time, intending to go for a swim. Sadly, mother nature had other plans and the skies came open almost as soon as I got there. We all hovered under cover (metal roof) and couldn't even carry on conversation because the rain was so loud on the roof.

The good news was that I met a new neighbor at the end of my street and she was the only one who drank any of the wine I took (two glasses), so there's potential there. She also has a dog and feels about hers the same way I feel about mine. And she's redoing her house and has a great guy for me to use when I'm ready to do anything serious. That alone is newsworthy.
