My mentoring a juvenile delinquent opportunity got one step closer today... fingerprinting. I don't remember being fingerprinted before I went to work at HISD, but do remember it happening in Arkansas twelve years ago. God bless technology! Who knew they didn't use ink anymore? Just a few squirts of water on my fingertips, rubbing them together, and then placing them on what looked like a printer keypad and it was done. Now I can't commit a crime in Arkansas or Texas, or at the very least, will have to wear gloves. Apparently I'm reading too many mysteries these days.
