There was a time not so very long ago that I wasn't sure I would ever fit into this older (elderly?) community. But now, I'm almost having more fun than I can stand. We had a group of 16 for dinner tonight and for once, every single person enjoyed their meal. The wine was cheap for happy hour and the food was great. The company was even better. I'm definitely happy I'm here.

P.S. I tried to test my theory this evening on hair-coloring women. It's not 100%. There are definitely women who color their hair and are not fun and vice versa. Some gray-haired women are a hoot. So maybe it works 85% of the time. I need to do a study.
