Eye doctor this morning and I'm so happy that she finally offered a solution to my double vision problem. It's gotten so bad that I have to drive with one eye closed on the freeway because I see two cars side by side (which means many, many extra cars on the freeway). But hopefully, with a prism added into my lenses, it should improve greatly. She did tell me not to order the new glasses until I see the retina specialist next week. Not a problem... I'm happy there's hope.

I helped host a pot luck luncheon at the clubhouse today for the single ladies. We had a nice turnout and I insisted that each person draw a table number when they arrived so there would be no cliques sitting together. Everyone seemed to like the idea and I'm pretty sure it worked well. Then we shifted again before dessert. Tricks of the trade from my teaching days.
