Ta da! It's done and it's spectacular. Maybe that's a little strong, but I do like it a lot. It's called luxury vinyl flooring and I love the lighter look, the softer feel under my feet (and now I'm less likely to break a hip if I take a tumble), but... it sounds like vinyl. Fortunately I've reached the age of elderly where I'm not such a hardwood snob as I used to be and really only care about the look and feel. It was an extremely stressful week, but with the help of my anti-anxiety medication (because I'm elderly), we made it.
