The drama club at Heritage Grand put on a melodrama this afternoon and I have to say, I was pretty impressed. The acting was good, the play was funny, and they interacted with the audience throughout (you know, typical of an old melodrama... boooo, hiss, yay).  It was fun and we even had dessert at intermission. Unfortunately, intermission was 30 minutes long so that all the old folks could get to the bathroom and back. Other than that, it was a fun afternoon.
