We're trapped! I'm having new flooring laid over my existing tile and today the floor is being floated. That means putting gunk on it to make it smooth. The dogs and I have been in the study since 1:00 and it's now 5:30. I think we have to stay in here for another half hour. Thankfully, I brought in a snack and shared it with the dogs. Granted, I did make one break for the bathroom, but other than that we're stuck. Fortunately there are French doors in here, so at least we can see out. I'm not certain what the plan is for tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure I can't stay in here all day. In hindsight, I probably should have waited till the weather was a little cooler so we could have stayed outside. Because this sucks!
