I made a sad discovery today. If I'm inactive, my ankle doesn't hurt, but my normal activity causes pain. I was hoping that while I was gone, the inflammation would go away and all would be right with the world. But nay, nay, my dear friends. However, I'm not giving up! I still have another appointment with the orthopedist and plan to ask for specific exercises to help, as well as whether or not any physical therapy would be beneficial. I'm learning a lot from Dr. Internet, but since my arthritis is due to a specific injury and doesn't affect my foot at all, I need more information. Just call me Frank.

I pulled all the Christmas decorations out of the garage today. I probably wouldn't have brought so much from Arkansas, but when I was packing everything up at New Years, I had no idea what my house would be like, so couldn't just get rid of the bulk of it. I think that will happen now, but I can't start decorating until tomorrow. I have an ironclad rule... no decorating before December 1st. So tomorrow, I will deck the halls!
