I'm so excited because I'm very, very close to being as busy as I want to be (only took eight months). Avery, the tutee who normally comes on Monday, came again today because she has a test tomorrow. And I also started tutoring Sharon's granddaughter, Bella, who is in 6th grade and also has a test tomorrow. Her mother, Emily, brought her and came in and had a glass of wine while Bella and I worked. Since I really love tutoring and Bella is family, she is pro bono. She's a sweet girl and very easy to work with, so I have no problems with this. And since her parents drove me to the wedding Saturday night and hopefully will let me ride along to other family gatherings, I really see this as a bartering arrangement. A win-win for all.
