It's been quite a Christmas day! Rob and I went to Christmas lunch (it was a soup extravaganza) at Charles and Adrienne's and saw cousins again, whom we love dearly. Then I headed home and Rob started back to Memphis. I had to take the dogs to the sitter, then was graciously driven to the airport by a neighbor. They don't come much better than that. I had a delightful trip to Seattle on Alaska Airlines, which I'd never flown before. It was a good day to fly because everyone was happy.
David picked me up at the airport and then drove me to the house that Joe and Mary Jane are renting. It's an old Victorian and very strange... a little eerie and very bizarrely laid out. I'll take photos tomorrow because it is now after midnight Houston time and I need to snuggle into bed.
Merry Christmas, ya'll!
