Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!

Rob got his tech chores done this morning and then we were off to visit with family. First we stopped off at Mary's house on Winsome, which is the property Aunt Helen bought, maybe 40 years ago, and left to Kitty when she died. Kitty has sold it and this party was the last hurrah, as Mary will be moving out January 2nd. The attendees were mainly Kitty's grandchildren and their children with a few of her kids (our cousins) mixed in. Although it was a cold day, the majority of the crowd played games outside while we wimpy ones huddled by the fire indoors.

Then some of the cousins and Rob and I moved on to meet Kitty and other cousins at a nearby restaurant for our traditional Christmas Eve oysters on the half shell. It was a treat for us and we also celebrated Mike Frank's 78th birthday. That man is amazing!

And now we're back home, cozy and warm, and waiting for Santa...
