After yoga this morning, our teacher invited the class to her house for a Mardi Gras lunch. Her son, a designer/chef/artist, was visiting from Colorado and handled everything. It was absolutely wonderful! The menu included red beans and rice, crawfish pie, boiled shrimp, andouille sausage, and king cakes (complete with babies). The tables were beautifully set and we each were presented with a mask and beads. I was stunned and very happy because the food was delicious.
