I'm gutted, as the British would say. First, I lost Craig Ferguson in December and now it just gets worse. Brian Williams has been my favorite newscaster since he took over the NBC Nightly News. And now he's some kind of idiot apparently and I doubt he'll be back. And then... Jon Stewart??? Granted I'm ever so slightly more conservative than liberal and I frequently disagree with him, but he sure puts the news in perspective and laughing at the impossible situations our country faces is so much better than crying or getting angry. I'm pretty sure that he is solely responsible for my lack of interest in politics because it's all so absurd that it's funny. What to do, what to do? But as Rob pointed out, thank goodness I wasn't a serious Jay Leno or Letterman fan. Are younger people feeling this same pain or is this a senior's reaction to change? Regardless... it sucks!

I was unhappy when Roy Rogers went off the air, when they fired Tom Landry, and now I hardly even know the people who are retiring. I am way too old to still be alive. Wonder if Dad felt this way as he neared 90? Still, I've got stuff to do and can't wait for the Formula One season to start. You did know that Chris left Google to move back to New York to be with his wife. He's job hunting now. Don't worry too much, he got $150,000 bonus when he left. I think he'll land on his feet.
