Trichiasis... my new eye disease. Fortunately it's nothing serious, just a pain in the butt. Well. actually a pain in the eye. It seems that I now have two eyelashes on my lower lid that continue to grow backwards into my eye and are scratching my cornea. I've had them plucked four times because they grow right back the same way. At some point, when I'm tired of going to the eye doctor once a month, I'll have them surgically removed. It's laser surgery and not a big deal. The big deal is that I'll have to go to the medical center. Yikes!!!
