I visited Hope this afternoon and we had fun playing cards. She taught me three games called Speed, 6 Lines, and California Speed. I told her they all sounded like drug names and she laughed, but I liked them all. She wasn't happy that I won more games than she did, but I said she was too old for me to let her win. She replied that she'd never lost 6 Lines, but I changed all that... and I think it's good for her.

I was going to bring her lunch from Whataburger today, but when I asked her therapist yesterday, she said not this week because Hope had been in trouble. When I explained to her that I can't bring her lunch unless she behaves herself, I could actually see the wheels turning in her head. We'll see how it works out for next week.
