On Friday I got new plantation shutters and they're beautiful! I was telling one of my friends about it and she said she was going to get wood blinds soon because she has the tiny aluminum blinds. Well, I was replacing wood blinds and planned to donate them to a resale shop where Kay volunteers through her church. Since Ann has my same floor plan, I asked her if she wanted them and she jumped at it. So she picked them up today, paid me a tidy little sum to help offset the cost of the shutters and said I could donate her blinds to Kay's shop. Recycling at its finest!
