I embarrassed myself today because I double-booked for this afternoon. A lady I don't know very well called last night to ask if I could sub in her Bunko group today at 1:00. I said yes because the only thing I have scheduled on Mondays is aerobics class (and I can always miss that). But when I looked at my calendar this morning about 10 to see what I had for this week, I saw that the student I normally tutor on Tuesday had switched to Monday for this week only. How humiliating to have to call someone two and a half hours before their event and cancel. I did offer to come and play until I had to leave at 3:30 but thankfully, she found someone else. I hate it when I act old!
