I felt pretty good when I got up this morning and my dog walker couldn't come today, so my neighbor, Ann, offered to help me walk the dogs. She started with Glory and I had Simon, but we quickly had to switch because Simon walks behind and yanks you every time he stops to pee at a post or tree. We didn't go far, but it worked well. Happily. Kristina will be back tomorrow so I don't have to worry about doing it again.

Our smaller wine group of eight (we call it the secret society) went to a food pairings class this evening and had a great time. All the whites were paired with cheese and all the reds were paired with chocolate. Naturally none of us liked all the wines, but it sure was fun Afterwards we stayed for dinner and ordered a food that went best with our favorite wine. By that time who knew what we were eating or how well it went with the wine. But the bottom line is... the evening was a hit.
