Simon has been limping a lot lately due to his arthritis, but I haven't been able to figure out why it had gotten so much worse. Well, this morning I figured it out. I put a glucosamine pill in with his food every morning and I just happened to be watching today when he walked away, pill still in bowl, and Glory jumped right in and gobbled it down. I suppose that could be seen as preventive maintenance for Glory, but my little buddy, Simon, was losing out. Now I have to figure out a way to get him to eat it again. Peanut butter is my standard go to for pill taking and it works well, although both dogs have to get it when only one needs it. Glory is in a win-win situation.
