I made it safe and sound to smoky Sacramento and I'm not kidding. Wildfires are nearby, but not too close to be nervous. First of all, apparently my therapist yesterday actually knew what she was doing because the pain in my butt is almost nonexistent. There is still pain in my lower back, just as the initial therapist predicted, but it is certainly more bearable than the pain in my ass. I'm just thrilled.
Andrea picked me up at airport, then we came to her house where she prepared us a delicious salmon dinner. So far she's a really good cook. And I was so happy to see Gracie, the dog I gave Andrea about 10 years ago because she was too hyper for me. She and Bella were holy terrors together so I had to split them up. Driving up to the house Andrea warned me that she barks and barks at people when they first come in, but will settle down after a while. But guess what... she didn't make a sound and actually seemed a little excited to see me. I think it was a case of, "I know you're familiar somehow, but have no idea how I know you." Regardless, it made my day!
