So here's the deal and it's a sad one. I was very stupid yesterday morning and slipped my iPad into the front zipper pocket of my bag to be checked instead of the carry-on. So naturally when I got here it was gone. I texted my dog sitter last night to make sure I hadn't left it at home. She'd already gone to bed and didn't get back to me until this morning to say I hadn't. When I called customer service I was told I had missed the four hour deadline but she would report it as a courtesy complaint. So we know what that means... it's gone. The worst part is that it wasn't password protected because if I ever take it away from home, it's always with me. Too much info is available to whoever got it but I can't change any passwords because I don't know the current passwords. I'm doomed!

So I'm blogging on my phone and from now on they'll be brief. Andrea took me sightseeing this afternoon and then Gretchen came over for dinner and to spend the night. In the morning we all leave for Napa. I'll just drink my worries away. We also may have to dodge wildfires. Stay tuned.
