Today I had Christmas with Bryanna, the 4th grader. She brought me cards from Mason, her aunt, and herself, all with heartfelt hand-written notes.  Her aunt wrote that every day that they spend time with me, they come home talking about how much fun they had and she thanked me. I almost cried, but told Bryanna that she needed to tell her aunt that it means as much to me as it does to them. Then she asked, "Now don't you wish you had kids?" I told her I wish I had grandkids and she laughed. You just can't tell a 9-year-old that you chose not to have children. She also gave me a small box of chocolates from the finest chocolate store in Katy. Can't go wrong there!
