I really enjoyed an evening at the wine bar with a smaller group of ladies. Only two of us had been there before and the others all loved it. And I learned more about the group. Five of the seven of us had lost their husbands to cancer and the other woman was like me... didn't know if we had or not, just knew that we didn't as long as we were with them. One of the women suggested that we go there once a month and another said she wanted to go once a week. I think I fall somewhere in between but am willing to go again next week.

Tomorrow night the big group is going out to dinner and that is usually 12 to 18 people. Then Saturday night is bingo, so my weekend is full. I'm struggling to keep my weight in check, but am happy to report that after a slight gain, I'm now back down where I belong. I do enjoy eating out, so have to keep stepping on those scales every morning... dammit!
