I spent most of the day working on amended tax returns for Mom. My accountant told me I should have counted all the income until the end of the year instead of stopping at her date of death. I don't get it, but do as I'm told, so hopefully will finish next week. Then he will prepare a return for the trust from the day she died until Dec. 31. And then it should all be complete. Whew!

We had a small group for dinner tonight, but went to a great seafood restaurant and I enjoyed the food and company immensely. Now glad to be back in the nest.
