Today, not so good. I had some minor gum surgery this morning and while it went well, I hate stitches in my mouth. This wasn't my first rodeo so I knew what to expect, but it's still yucky. The periodontist said that he would clean my teeth before he started the surgery and I thought, "Wow, this will be a good cleaning. Maybe he won't be as rough as a technician." Well... he probably did an excellent job, but it was brutal! And to that I add, never again. Technicians are so much more gentle and tend to blot your face when water's running down it and apologize when they know they're hurting you. Not this guy! He was an animal and water was pouring down my neck. I hate that. And now it's time for another ice pack...

  1. So sorry. I only go to the dentist once every twenty years and only then if there is pain and blood spurting. Mom used to take me to the dental school and let the students practice on me because it was so cheap. Ruined my relations with dentists forever. I feel your pain. I'm told that anything that ends with -tini helps a lot.
