Winner of best birthday card! I enjoyed a lovely brunch with my old Heights friends as well as two couples who joined me for birthday celebrations in New Orleans for five years in a row, starting with the 40th. Today was actually the 26th annual 40th birthday and we went to the Federal Grill for a delicious meal. Back in our 40's days, we used to wear tiaras whenever it was a special occasion, so imagine my surprise when I got one for a gift. So much fun and now the dieting before Thanksgiving in Memphis begins (when you play, you gotta pay).
Karen laughed out loud at your card winner. I love hearing her laugh, so thank you for posting that. Glad you had a great birthday and good luck with your dog catching. We have been completely taken over by our little Tibetan Terrier. She is just so cute!!
